The surrounding area boasts a robust daytime population of approximately 125,000 within a five-mile radius, making it a strategically chosen site for Planet 13’s expansion.
The Orange Park dispensary officially opened to the public on April 4, 2025, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local business leaders, patients, and representatives from the Clay County Chamber of Commerce. The opening marks Planet 13’s 32nd location in Florida, as the company continues to strengthen its presence in the state’s competitive medical cannabis market.
Co-CEO Bob Groesbeck expressed his enthusiasm about the launch, stating that the new store reaffirms the company’s commitment to providing high-quality products and service to Florida’s growing medical cannabis community. “We’re thrilled to open another convenient Planet 13 dispensary, bringing our award-winning products to more patients in Northeast Florida,” Groesbeck said during the opening event.
Planet 13 is well-known for its large-scale, experience-driven dispensaries, including its flagship location in Las Vegas, which has become a major tourist destination. While the Orange Park location is more modest in size, it carries the same product quality and customer service focus that has defined the brand nationally.
The dispensary offers a full range of medical cannabis products, including flower, concentrates, edibles, vapes, and topicals. Licensed patients can expect the same variety of proprietary and third-party brands that have become staples at other Planet 13 locations.
